City Highline

Vorletztes Wochenende spannte ich zusammen mit Bernhard Röttgers eine über 40m lange Highline parallel zu einer Brücke in Freising. Der Spot war zwar weder hoch noch exponiert(durch die begleitende Brücke) allerdings einfach aufzubauen und doch sehr chillig. Ein Freund von mir, Marcus Fleischmann, kam dann auch noch dazu und machte ein paar sehr schöne Bilder, von dem eigentlich komplett unfotogenen Platz...

Bouldernight Vol. III

Auch dieses Mal war es wieder ein super Abend mit wohl mehr als 200 Leuten in unserer kleinen Halle.
Wie angekündigt gab es einen "Schraub-Contest" aufgeteilt in eine Profi- und eine Amateurliga.
Sehr überraschend gewannen Bernhard Röttgers und ich in der Amateuliga den ersten Preis.
Aber es wurden natürlich nicht nur Boulder geschraubt, sondern auch geklettert. Unteranderem ca. 10 Highballs, bei denen man bis über die 6 Metermarke klettern musste.
auch für Essen Trinken und Musik war durch die Bar und 2 eingeladene DJs bestens gesorgt.

A "funny" day in the snow

On saturday some friends (Hannes, Helmar and Grischa) and i wanted to do the firs winter ascend of a Highline at the "Heuberg" near Rosenheim. After trying to drive up to the quarry which turned out to be imposible, because of the ice on the steep street. So we hiked up around 700 meters altitude difference and as we reached the StoneNeedle we realized that i would be quite hard to ascend the rocks because of massive ice layers on top of them.
We decided not to try and rather hike down again and go to a different spot.
So at least we where able to train a litte bit on the highline in the "Wolfsschlucht", where i finally landed the korean buttbounce on this line.

This time we don´t have any footage or pics, because nobody wannted to take some, maybe because of the bad weather conditions and the freezing coldness.

After we returned to munich i was able to walk a second highline this day in the backyard of Hannes, which was a funny moonshine on sight.
So the day turned out good in the end.

Winterdays

Last weekend i visited some friends in "Garmischpartenkirchen".
I was there for 2 days and we did 2 highlines. on the first day we went up to the "Sonnenspitze" and on the second day we did the first winter-walk of the highline on the "Ettaler Mandel".
It was very interesting to go highlining at -7°C but at the same time the surrounding is much more beautiful if its covered with snow...

From very low to very high

Last weekend me and some of my friends visited Rosenheim for some slackaction...
First we were jumplining in a gym, which wasn´t that perfect, because our line was to low for serious jumping, but it was fun and a fine warmup for the main part.
As the title already tells we went highlining.It was pretty cold something around -6°C
so it was kind of fun...
We went to the "Wolfsschlucht" near Rosenheim and rigged a 20 meter long and about 35m high line.Two of us haven´t been walking a highline before, so for them it was a really new experiance.For Bernhard and me it was really fun, so we played along with the line doing tricks like dropp knies, sittingposes, laying down and some experiments like a split, or buttbounces...
At the end of the day Bernhard decided to do his final run "naked", so he did.
So we had a really funny day with good slacklining.
